- Visual inspection of all accessible building materials (roofing, insulation, floor tiles, pipe lagging, ceiling boards, etc.)
- Collection of bulk material samples from suspected ACMs
- Submission of samples to SANAS-accredited laboratory for Polarised Light Microscopy (PLM) analysis
- Risk assessment of confirmed ACMs based on condition, accessibility, and potential for disturbance

Frequently Asked Questions
Is an asbestos survey mandatory?
Yes. The Asbestos Regulations require that any employer who has or may have asbestos-containing materials on their premises must have a survey conducted and maintain an asbestos register.
Can you test if a material contains asbestos?
Yes. We collect bulk samples on site and submit them to a SANAS-accredited laboratory for PLM analysis. Results typically take 5–10 working days.
